Land Use Spatial Optimization Using Accessibility Maps to Integrate Land Use and Transport in Urban Areas

چکیده
Abstract The scarcity of urban land resources requires a well-organized spatial layout use to better accommodate human activities, however, as widely accepted concept, the integration and transport is not given due consideration in optimization (LUSO). This paper aims integrate LUSO support planning. Maximizing accessibility fitness, which follows underlying logic between types characteristics, introduced into multi-objective (MOLUSO) modelling address considerations, together with widely-used objectives such maximizing compactness, compatibility, suitability. this study, are identified by driving accessibility, cycling walking accessibility. Integrate land and water use planning at the scale of the urban master plan
The survival of cities as living beings and their inhabitants depends on the supply of water. Numerous factors such as population growth, climate, drought, consumption pattern, amount of available water resources and utility network affect the equation of water supply and consumption. What has been less considered in the traditional planning process than ever before is the connection between la...

Sustainable development, future studies, information technology, urban land-use and passenger transport . These are the five concepts upon which this thesis and the eight papers it contains are based. The thesis includes both a development of future studies methodology, especially with regard to backcasting, and analyses of the relationship between sustainable development, information technolog...
متن کاملSustainable Urban Land Use Allocation With Spatial Optimization
Sustainable urban form has been recognized as one of the major concerns of the planning practice. Current land use pattern trends with low-density, single-use, and leapfroging urban growth on city outskirts call for more efficient land use development strategies balancing economy, environmental protection, and social equity. In this paper, we present a new multiobjective spatial optimization mo...
متن کاملUrban Land Cover and Land Use Classification Using High Spatial Resolution Images and Spatial Metrics
In this paper, the author evaluates the results of applying two evolving classification techniques, decision trees (DT) and artificial neural networks’ back-propagation (ANN-BP), to obtain land cover and land use classes from Quickbird XS data combined with spatial metrics, in a selected urban zone in Bogota, Colombia. In order to improve the quality of the land cover classification, additional...
متن کاملAssessing Urban Land Use Changes Using ASSA Model
Urban watersheds have been a centerpiece among communities over the last few decades. Every growing urban watershed requires a system designed to store rainwater (runoff). Hence, estimating the amount of runoff and runoff generation percentage of different parts in an urban catchment system is substantial. Therefore, this was set as the cornerstone for assessing the hydrological response of dif...
